Enter your filter’s inside diameter and the depth of each media layer to work out how much sand, anthracite, garnet or carbon to order. Repeat for each layer in a dual or multimedia filter.
How it works
Volume = 3.1416 × (diameter ÷ 2)² × depth. Weight = volume × bulk density. Bulk densities are typical loose values; actual figures vary slightly by grade.
