Multimedia Filter Media Sets
We supply complete multimedia filter beds, with every layer graded to your filter and packed and labelled by layer, so a change-out goes in the right order the first time. One order covers anthracite, sand, garnet and gravel for one filter or a whole plant.

How much media do I need?
Volume per layer is the filter’s cross-sectional area multiplied by the layer depth. For a round filter: area = 3.1416 × (diameter ÷ 2)². A 1.2 m diameter filter has an area of about 1.13 m², so a 400 mm anthracite layer needs about 0.45 m³, or roughly 330 kg at a typical bulk density of 0.73 t/m³. Send us your filter sizes and we will calculate every layer.

Do you label bags by layer?
Yes. Each layer is packed and marked separately so installers can load the filter in the right sequence.
